Service - very nifty.
Might be worth adding a caveat for the general release that streams
cannot be saved to Favorites (in Now Playing or on the Server UI) just
to avoid unnecessary failure reports.

I notice that the beta plugin has now gone to version 8.
I've upgraded, (from beta 3 I think) anything to look out for?
Continues to work fine for me on 7.3.3 and Ubuntu 9.04 - still haven't
had a single instance of failure to connect first time.

Just noticed that World Service (live stream) has gone flash/aac,
perhaps this could be included in next update.
Not sure how BBC make people aware of these things, seems a bit hit and
miss.

That fixed it.
Looks great for radio.
Will see how I get on with this setting when listening to music.
Might be an idea to think about over-riding display settings if
possible as the user can have this set in many different ways.

Can't see any text on Radio 4 FM and 5 Live Sports Extra today.
Haven't been checking systematically - may have been since last
update.

My Local Player Plug-in performs flawlessly, but the process for
starting it seems in-elegant.
Despite having the Start Player with server button ticked in the setup
it reports Not Running
The process to start it is to uncheck the Start player with server
button and press the apply tab.

As all but ten tracks of my music are in aac or flac it would be a

what I had in mind was, say I was in My Music/Artist/Ella Fitzgerald on
my SB3's and another menu item was available alongside Songs/Albums etc
that said something like On Spotify.

It worked straight away.
I didn't have to perform the two import steps you describe - possibly
because I had removed Info Browser and had to re-install it and then
restart SqueezeCenter.
I haven't used ContextMenu yet - I'll take a look.

that blocks the suspend action and whether the script can be stopped on
suspend and restarted on resume.

On my SB3's BBC iPlayer disappeared from the Internet Radio Menu when
upgrading to 7.6
Not a big problem - just had to put it back as a separate entity into
each of the SB3's menus.
Any ideas why it didn't persist?
