Switching from non LMS based devices works with exception of switching
back from Yamaha Musiccast to Spotty. But this seems to be an issue
with Yamaha, if I switch to Raumfeld back and forth it works perfectly.

Yeah after a few months of not having Spotty working on my old Mac Pro,
I was ready to give up and wipe the machine.
Just to like check, grabbed the latest build and tested it one last
time... And believe it or not it just started working perfectly after

Unplugging the Touch and skipping from the Web UI gives the same result,
the playing song pauses every time I wake the phone after having
skipped.
I think even letting it play, changing to the next track etc. would
cause this behaviour. I think I have something to share later today.

I've managed to narrow this problem down. And it's now repeatable. I'm
using the Local player plugin and Squeezelite is the player and the
selectable device, I then also use a Touch as UI (for having a hardware
remote) - the Touch uses Squeezelite as the player. Now, I found out
that the problem

Yes, it's enabled. It's been enabled for quite a few weeks and it has
been working as in my device being detected. But maybe two weeks ago it
stopped being detected. I did recheck to ensure it is being enabled for

The only thing not working is the Connect feature, and I'm using it from
my android Spotify app which is also where I expect the Spotty instance

No, imho the last session in your log file doesn't show any crash. But
it looks as if you re-enabled the local discovery option, after which
the plugin would re-start the daemon with the new option.
