You need to adjust the LMS cors settings. You need to allow connections
from the hostname where python is.
The Play Store policy is a little frustrating. It's not reasonable to
expect instant tech support, so I'm going to have little choice but to
uninstall the apps again.

The server is added to both apps. SB player says I'm connected to it.

Two additional things:
The icon for SB Player has a circle with a "1" on it, seemingly
indicating some sort of notification that is opaque to me and tha I've
been unable to locate.

If I go to the web interface for LMS, I can see "SB Player 4" listed on
the select menu for players. From the web interface I can play to my
phone over my data connection, but Squeeze Ctrl is not functioning as a
controller in any way.

Excellent! Spotify seems to randomly return empty responses for certain
queries. Seems to be an issue you're not alone with (searching Spotify's

Plays fine for 30 seconds or so then disconnects, you can reconnect
again and play for another 30 seconds.

Which version of Material is this? How often does it happen? Under what
scenarios? i.e. after switch player, queue was empty, queue had same
number of tracks as that you are adding?

not fully up when the machine awoke, it'd b at least 10

The auto discovery process also finds the port number, which is why it

paste it in the Tune In URL field in the web UI.
