The BBCiPlayer menu.opml file is only updated when you update/reinstall
the BBCiPlayer test version of the plugin or if the plugin is updated
automatically. The menu.opml file is only read on LMS startup.

I have made a unified menu, which didn't take quite as long as I feared

menu.opml file in

This setting is historical - as there used to be two other non DASH
formats Flash and HLS, it was added because users needed the disabling
of DASH from

It is not clear what are your current BBCiPlayer and BBCiPlayerExtra
settings. It is possible for them to be in conflict.
Assuming your problem relate to "Listen Again" programs only.
