Just this afternoon I implemented the changes that integrate our online

It should be on the properties for the chm. Windows blocks chm because they
can do harm. So it required to be un-blocked before use. Otherwise you might
just get the frame with no content.

I just received my Surface 2 pro with Windows 8.1 and copied my VFP6 folder

Hi foxgang
I have for years used chm for help files. But it seems harder to get them
working. Ok its easy where the properties has unblock. But where there is no
unblock, I assume because of network policies, what do you do.
I suppose the question is what are we supposed to use for help files

Hi Tracy
In this case the help file is an updated one after the install. It has
another name to the original as its not complete. So it is downloaded and
probably required an unblock. Problem is on one user unblock is not
available. Not to mention citrix servers yet. I have already done this with

You need to install SP5 first, then copy FOXHELP.* into the Foxpro
program folder. That's what I always do.
BTW, you need to modify a file in the SP5 patch first for Win 7.

The foxhhelpps.dll also needs to be registered with REGSVR32. Same with

Hi Foxgang.
Seem to have a little problem running help files created with robohelp's

I assume it may be an ocx/dll or something.

That didn’t work either im sorry to say.
Seems the error starts with the open dialog on a double click instead of
just running it.
Then it errors with a message along the lines of you don’t have internet
access.
As this is running on AOL broadband I would not be surprised what that
rubbish does.
