I did that and then the box opens and tells me it is
disabled. I never tried
up the registry nonsense,
like on Windows.

hm, I don't know then. We have several Dell XP boxes around here and
none of them seems to have cmd disabled.

Artnet Pro Inc in San Jose, California can produce gerber files from a
photoscan of a (two-sided) board. So far I have only looked at the
gerbers successfully in Camtastic, and did not find a way to import
these into P99SE. But I am sure the import will not be difficult when I
the mechanical layers with signal traces.
