iously HD-only commands are once again making it into Pro
Tools Standard. We always knew that the Option+Forward Slash command conflicted
with the automation glide command in Pro Tools but, because most blind HD users
have control surfaces, the shortcut wasn't critical. Now that the shortcuts
critical. Now that the shortcuts
have "entered the mainstream," so to speak, we'll look into whatever makes the
most sense.

So Option+Shift+Slash could be removed from the current Flo Tools shortcuts
list.
In addition maybe it would be better to replace Option+Slash, to avoid
unwanted automation tasks.

Hi Martin,
Yes, except that, earlier, one had to be in playlist views to perform some of
the shortcuts. Now it can be done right from waveform view.

Folks,
I’ve attached a plain text version of the keyboard shortcuts for Pro Tools
version 12.6. I’ve stripped out the Windows commands so this is Mac only. I’ve

One thing to keep in mind about this list is that several pages toward the end

Hi Andy,
I've taken the Pro Tools shortcuts pdf and edited it down just a bit and
excluded the Windows shortcuts as they're superfluous for VoiceOver. I know you
asked about a list of the most common shortcuts and this is way beyond that but
it's quite difficult to edit it down further because
A curated list of shortcuts is a great idea since not all shortcuts will apply
to blind users. In addition, the Windows shortcut equivalents are redundant.
I'll try to edit together a document to reflect the most useful shortcuts.

I know there is a shortcuts book for PT. However, it can be time consuming to
go through, and I probably won’t remember everything there. Therefore, I am
looking for a quick reference card for the most common shortcuts used by blind
users. Does anyone have such a thing?
