2 ROM's with a CMOS EPROM, really dropped the milliamp draw of the
QL's power supply bits. Somewhere in the back of my mind it seems that it
reduced the total draw by up to 30%

Some battery only stores will spot weld tabs on the button cells, then you can
get it shrink-wraped, this can ease the install clearences so that the cell
would then occupy the space of the original batt with room to spare.

and because the capacity of the wire exceeded the trace it was deemed
