I solved the problem deleting, with Qxlwinreader, config file in the unreadable
file and copying an old config from a backup qxl.win. Now it’s all’ OK.

I have reproduced the problem with Q-emulator. I get "not enough memory"
when I try to attach a 1 GB QXL.win file. I set the QL to as much memory
as I can and I still get the error. With an 800 MB QXL.win file, it
attaches just fine.
I'm thinking that 1 GB is hitting some boundary, meaning

There is a QUANTA Library QXL.WIN file on CD done by Darren Brannah some
years ago that has quite a few folders and files in it. Maybe Darren
made a count of how many, but I don't know personally. Is it a function
of the number of files or is it the total size of the .win file that is

Confirmed, as long as you use the correct parameters, 'cp' will fully
duplicate everything. Whoever ported it did a good job.
