that they appear to have pulled it from sourceforge. So I'm back to
vpopmail 5.4.13 and its all working right.

Well, sometimes you gotta make do with one server =) It's basically a
non-commercial operation.

No, there's not.

You don't need to manually edit the .qmail file.
In the current version of QmailAdmin (1.2.9), you can forward messages
to others and have a vacation response. The Vacation option was moved
to a checkbox, and is independent of the other settings.

- I am using an already patched qmail (with the John Simpson combined
patch) and when I patch it with qmail-tap I get a failure indication on
qmail-control.9. After viewing qmail-control.9.rej I see it fails adding
the .I taps \fR(none) \fRqmail-queue
You could copy the email to one account and have that
account forward copies to multiple email addresses.
currently qmail tap only supports sending the copy
to one email address.

qmailadmin uses the vpopmail library functions. The vpopmail library
knows to do the valias probably becuase you configured it that way.
Reconfiguring vpopmail is fairly simple.
You can get your current configuration from the config.log file.
Save that configure line.
