Best path to upgrade Performa 640 (w/ DOS card)?

I have a Performa 640 (with DOS card) and was looking to speed it up and turn it into a legacy port printing server. I could care less about the DOS card... If there¹s a market, I¹ll sell it on Ebay, but... 1) What are my best options to speed this machine up? (I¹ve heard either replace DOS
