Hi all,
I am new to this forum and am planning to buy a Squeezebox Radio, but I
have got hesitant after reading about all FW-problems here.
Since I have no plans to stream music from my Mac at the moment, I am
only going to use it to listen to Internet radio and as an alarm

It seems like the behaviour of the Power button changed from 7.5.0 to
7.5.1.
When I press 'Power Off' when an alarm is playing the radio used to
switch to the 'Off'-state showing the big clock as screensafer.
Now I'm stuck in the main menu and need to press 'Power Off' twice.
I found a bug
Why do they change these things? If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Since upgrade to 8837 whenever I switch my Radio from SBS to MySB or
vice-versa it asks to update the firmware again. Is there a way to
stop this? Thanks.

On the other hand - I try to think hard why one would need 7.5.1 for

that might come in handy on the Radio (possibly all just minor stuff for

Is your Squeezebox Server running the same version as your Radio? If
not, when switching to Squeezebox Server will result in a prompt to
upgrade. The solution to that, I believe, would be to uninstall the
Squeezebox Server and download whatever version your radio is using.
I am running 7.5.0

Does anyone have an official answer as to which version of firmware is
