Hah. I was just writing that the remote does have some use with Radio.
It's worthless, I'll admit, for navigating onscreen text, but for
launching presets, skipping tracks, adjusting the volume, pausing,
turning Radio off, etc., a remote is still nice to have.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Excellent point. My particular example
turned out to be a worst case scenario: the Boom remote (which has no
alphanumeric keys, and therefore no good for presets) pointed at the SB
Radio before anything had been selected to play.

my Slimp3 player for about 6 years now I guess. So this is a big update
and I like the Slimp3 player. But the color screen on this is super. The
set up was super. I hooked Ethernet to it and it 1ST ask for a update

I'd be glad to get a remote :)
Personally, I need another Remote like I need another hole in my head.
I don't think the Touch should even come with a remote. Only the

Also, every time I wear out the battery on my SB Radio, I 'HAVE' to buy
another Remote with it? What kind of sense does that make?..
I've wondered that myself. Continually charging these batteries would
likely wear them out, no?
Maybe they can implement a
If I had a Radio I would definitely need a remote (the Radio would be

Chances are, however, that if they were selling the battery and the

I wouldn't be so sure about needing a remote with the SB Radio. Last

The price will be $49.99 USD.
Some of you may see a battery as optional. I used to think that too,
but in daily use at my house, a battery is mandatory. The battery
transforms a Squeezebox Radio into a take-anywhere, indoor or outdoor
source of all your music or internet radio. As a member
where can one get that? Is it available in the UK yet? google spits out

It's not available yet. If you do a forum search the URL of it on the
Logitech website is posted but it's at pre-order status. I have seen
people post they think it's coming in December.
