I agree about the double TT. A stout set of wheels should be done mid-week.

You are patient! In that frame size, the 2TT looks just right. Now for
some wheels?

Hey bunch,
After many months of accumulating parts, not to mention waiting on the
frame, I've finally started building up the new ATL. I've been dreaming
about this bike for about 16 years, so it's incredibly gratifying to see it
coming together. I'll be building it up over the next week or
I’m volunteering on Sunday afternoon and will be at the CCAP party on Saturday

A poncho test might be safer. Less entertaining/stressful.

Depends on the wheels/tires and cockpit IMHO. I run lighter wheels, narrower
tires and brifters on my Roadeo so it feels it bit more lively than my Toyo
Ram. Blindfolded, I’d be hard pressed to tell the difference.

I think you're more likely to see a Rivendell disc frame than a Riv Silver

Brooks Cambium C-17, slate, as new condition. Installed once and
immediately removed. $80 shipped CONUS.
Wanna trade? I would consider trades for brifters or Soma Cazadero tires.

Please only those who have ridden both:
I own a blue Ram.
Gonna be any noticeable ride diffs if I get a Roadeo?
I do road riding with light loads.
Just wondering if worth getting one or if it is virtually the same
experience.
Thanks for the info.

Paul centerpulls have no mush, outside of the cables/housing. Paul CP

However, any rim brake can feel mushy if you have excessive toe-in,

I was at RBW yesterday and saw the Clem L "3-speed" Grant is selling. $1650
today, bottoms out at $1600 Saturday, 1/27. It's super nice and that's a raging
deal all set up with an XT derailer, Brooks saddle, Bullmoose Boscos and a
BananaSax. It's a good thing it doesn't fit me, otherwise I

IMHO they're both speed adjusters rather than brakes. The CPs are a tad
mushier in response, but look nicer and allow more room for fenders
particularly at the fork bridge.

Without the B17 and enormously heavy Crane bell, this gets pretty close 20
lbs.

So far Pauls and R559 run into trouble sporadically in the rain. Sonetimes they
work like normal when wet, sometimes barely any stoppage at all.

Thanks for posting the article. My plan at this time is that a Roadeo would
be next bike for the kind of riding it is intended for. It would replace my
vintage aluminum Trek 1000 which I got for a very good price. It's good
bike, lively and responsive, but the ride can be harsh compared to my
My 59cm Roadeo was about 21.5# with classic parts:

Nitto stem and bars

derailleurs
VO 46/30 crank and VO cartridge BB
