Yeah, it’s a wonky setup. Dropouts measure about 140 inside face to inside face, relaxed with no wheel mounted. Came stock with about 132.5 wheel. My A23/135 LX fits great, but need to use that set for another project. 100 CR18 seems too narrow. -- You received this message because you are

That sounds like a wider spacing than normal... I went through this a couple weeks ago, and even called Rivendell to ask about running a 130 wheel in a 135 dropout. I said I wanted to use the wheel for a few years, and they said it would be fine. But again, my spacing really was only 5mm

I measured with wheel loosely dropped in and pushed all the way to one dropout side: 8mm gap on other side. So there is going to be 4mm each side of hub that will need to be taken up when QR tightened. HiTen Raleigh dropouts. Had a 135 in it. 130 going in. 4mm each side too much? Or ok to use?
