Got to tag along with some SF Randonndeurs, Ely from Ruth Bags, Ray from

I took this as an excuse to take the long way home looking for a different
way to get up to Mission Peak. I decided to take Weller Rd via Calaveras Rd.

Typical day of riding with Mr, Sean Hipkin, bike boxer of thy Rivendell.
Little bit of dirt, add a little bit of mud, good amount of climbing, a

One of the greatest things about being a teacher is convincing students to
surpass their own limitations.
Last Thursday marked the first after school bike ride for the Venturing
Crew.
We had three venturers that braved the hot weather to ride up to Alum Rock.
Sweaty helmets and thirsty throats
Thought that this would be appropriate since we were both on a bike. The

Nitto R-10 is pretty good. I've used both for a rear bag. I like
the option of taking the R10 off and on whenever I can. Taking off and on a
Mark's rack get's kinda annoying after a while. If you're using the Mark's
rack for the rear with high profile brakes you'll need to fudge it to

Don't forget the most important thing! A nicknack that is either tied or

Over the weekend got to share one of my favorite activities, bike camping,
with the lady friend. The last camp trip we had turned out to be a
disaster, so I was quite surprised when she said she was interested in
doing some biking camping at Half Moon
Jared I would highly recommend Changing Gears. Their a non-profit shop
located on the old Alameda Army Base. They have a bunch of used bike parts
for super cheap. In fact thats were I got my new bike.

Biking with your family on Planet of the Apes road! My little brother and
my dad on his new bosco bar road bike tackled Planet of the Apes road in
typical San Francisco/Bay Area summer weather. Foggy. Maybe a half mile of

So I mentioned that my buddy Jesus Beltran, we just call him Chin,
videotaped the last S240 to Samuel P Taylor Park.
A couple months prior I helped him with a cycling video. We liked it but
felt it didn't really portray the real reason why cyclist like going out on
two wheels to ride bikes.

Got this at the Rivendell Garage sale a couple of years ago. Plenty of
beasuage on it prior found a good handful of pine needles in it before
cleaning it out. Used it on a number of camp trips since then.

You would think that pedaling people around on a bike would be fun. But
after eight days it starts to feel more like a job. Go figure.
Decided to remind myself why I enjoy biking s much, by going on a ride that
didn't require three wheels.
Great mileage today. Still can't find a direct route
Beater Rivendell? I thought all Rivendells are suppose to be ridden to the
ground?

The shirt is from Rickshaw Bagworks. I don't know if they sell it on their
website anymore. But call they might have more.
Also another cool thing. Didn't know if I should have posted this up on
