Been reading about studded tires.
Sounds like you must swap out wheels/tires for dry days, or have a second
bike with studded tires on them only for snow/ice days.
Reads like studs don't do well on dry pavement.
But I bet they are really great on ice. probably life savers.
Do they do

Studded tires are fine on dry pavement, they just ride like bricks and have
a lot of rolling
From the photos it doesn't look too small: there is the canonical one fist
of seatpost, for example. Does it not feel right? If not, I'd say (again,
judging from the photos) that it is the right size and simply needs to be
refitted properly.

I have the MiNewt 600. I tried a Cateye then the Princeton EOS but neither

I wholeheartedly third what Patrick in VT and Zack just said.
I put studded tires on my cyclomuter right before the first freeze, take
them off right after the last and FORGET about them in between. The key is
to forget about them and not let people shame you in to thinking you're

Nope, they all have the 2 on the seattube. It's a vague reference to the

Hey there Brent -
Welcome to the group!
Just so you know the lineage - the Bleriot was a simplified version of the
Saluki. The Saluki was combined into the 650B/584 tire size end of the A.
Homer Hilsen range, so those models are essentially the same as the
Bleriot.
Bobby - I don't know. I think I'd just sit on the seat and take my feet off
the pedals, brake, and shift back into the harder gear in order to slow the
pedals down enough to re-engage. The scenario is frailin' down a hill in
top gear, then dropping (accidentally) into low gear, right?
