Tom,
I like your idea and the independence it affordshowever I don't want to
burden Riv with something they didn't ask for.
Let's see what Denise finds out
Denise the timing would be August or September for the frame to arrive and
maybe another month for assembly/delivery.

Hi, sorry just picked up this thread - I've been out of the loop on this for a
bit so I'm happy to reach out to Dave about the tandem - let me know if you
want me to do this and if you can give me a few more details on the
sizing/timing on this and I'll see what he says. Let me know - d

Wow, never woulda expected this! My off the cuff vote would be to have Denise
reach out to Dave White from Blind Stokers. That seems in keeping with the
original intent and also targets a benefactor that might be more
interested/committed.
Riv was also to be a benefactor here; but, they
Im sure the research has been done, but on the off chance it hasn't, there

Not vouching for them, but a quick google search brings up several other

Not sure what's possible, but here's a couple ideas:
Thinking a president is not always involved in inventory/asset management

If she were willing, Christine could accept ownership of the new HHH on
behalf of BTCC, but just assign it for use by a captain to be shipped
I'm certainly not implying that I could ride it, haha. Sounds like you know
what you're up against. I'll go back to lurker status now.

They didn'talthough I think they were keen on the blind cyclist tandem
group idea from the get-go.
Will's response was very California/laid back.
Open to any and all ideas.

Did Will / Riv have any ideas for an alternative worthy cause or home for a

No I-told-you-so's from me, it was (and still is) a good idea worth
pursuing and it's very kind of you to have donated your time and attention
to it. I hope something can be worked out with it as a donation.
Dear Bunch,
I have some unfortunate news for the group...Christine has bowed out for
the donation sighting a heavy commitment at school. I don't want to
over-analyze and dwell on the past too much so I think we should carry on.

Ah, Chris. I’m trying to find a charitable way to respond to: “I don't know
anything about continental divide singletrack, but I challenge the notion that
it's not rideable.” How cute.
Now, if you want to learn ... Bikeable? Absolutely. Ridable? Not all of it.

Thanks Ryan! I’ve seen a few Rivs bopping around and a guy from here in GR rode

On Mon, Jan 21, 2019, 5:12 PM Pam Bikes I'd love to do an East Coast Riv ride in the South East - Charlotte, NC.

A couple of tips. The new valve cores form Stan's (and others) work

The trail works great for me. We run 100, 200 and 300k rides on it during the
year. The Ft Payne area features a canyon or you can climb Lookout Mtn. Or
both. The TRED routes north of Rome and the Chickamagua battleground park are
wonderful. GA is Full of bike routes plus the trail too.
Eric here, in the ‘burbs of Atlanta, GA. I know there are a couple of folks
also in the Atlanta area. I also would enjoy a SE meetup. I live on the east

Hey Folks:
OK, there seems to be enough interest for a two'fer on the east coast. A
Nor'Easter and a So'Easter. NE will probably be western-ish NY/eastern MA
area. Alex/Ben -yes?
If someone in the mid-Atlantic/south could grab the cork grips on this to
lead a group that would be GREAT!
