If you disregard the Bridgestone/early GP provenance, it's just another 90's road bike with limited clearance for tires. I would be inclined to value it for much the same as your previously owned Fuji Team. The Fuji may have had lighter tubing than the RB1 so the bikes may ride quite

For what it's worth, the Long Cage RD-6500 rear derailleur is rated for a 27T max cog. The Short Cage RD-6500 is rated for a 28T max cog. A couple people in this thread seem to think that a long cage means it'll shift to a larger cog, and that is not the case with the RD-6500. The long cage

A 1990's road racing bike and a new Rivendell Leo Roadini are two VERY different animals. Like, practically different species, even if they are the same genus. Step 1 is decide which of the two you want, and then buy the one you want. If it turns out you really want one of each of those two

It's a lovely bike in rare shape, 30 years on these aren't coming up in this condition every day. I believe the advertised max tire size was 28mm but that was in the era of over-promising on size by tire manufacturers, I'd only buy this if I was sure I could live with a 700x25 tire. On

I wouldn't be surprised if RBW dropped the Homer Hilsen from their line-up and replaced it with the Charlie H. Gallop (expected next year). Especially since it looks to have longish chainstays and uses the same caliper brakes as the Homer. Different frame design but similar "country bike"

Long ago I used a short cage 8-speed Ultegra rd, on a long mtb hanger, to shift a 14-32 7-speed cassette; it worked fine tho' it was rather stretched out in the 48 and middle cogs, you could use the 26 t granny only with the biggest cogs, and it grumbled when shifting to the 32 in the middle 38 t
