1/2 cm, as measured straight down the side of the fork blade from the top edge

But an LBS says the ratchet ain't strong enough and they autoshift too much.

I have Ul-locks planted at The places I go the most around town. You can buy
are you lock and leave it at the school locked to the bike rack and keep the
key on your key ring so whenever you go to the school the lock is there waiting
for you and you don't have to carry it on the bike

I recently had my Bleriot fit mapped at Gravel and Grind by way of what is
called an xy axis fit.
It was then transfered tomy Rambouillet.
The seat height and reach and bar height are different than the Bleriot if you
measure with a tape measure. But the fit is the same in relation to the xy
1.3 below saddle on Bleriot. You see the diff in geometries here. Way more stem
exposed. Same seat height (71cm).

Fistful of seatpost.
My Tech standard stem didn't work so I got the Tech Deluxe as it had less rise.
Tech bottomed out on Sam. Deluxe stopped about 2mm short of bottoming out so it

Go ahead and snug up all the bolts on the frame including any bottle cages.
Loose bolts anywhere on the bike can cause a clicking noise. It is very hard to
find where the sound is coming from.

I get a gentle hand massage at 18mph + with my sondeluxewidebody.

The attraction of the GB rims is that they auto seat compass tires. No
massaging necessary. I could get the machined A23 set But then I would have to
pay for a whole new wheelset 500 bucks. Maybe I'll just switch from the
yokozuna pads to cool stops and Swiss stops and see what happens with
Bump. Anymore feedback? Trying to decide between my spare Synergy set or GB
set. Neither were great in rain. Wonder if A23 better (machined). 650b. Long
reach sidepulls.

You have to decide from your experience. I have found that I like the frame
size better one size down from what Rivendell recommends for my PBH and seat
height measurements.
I have a short Reach. So one size down works for me and I still get a fist
full of seat post. Even when sizing
Mine were R559 levers, too. Didn't touch fender when braking though. But
dictated fender height, which wasn't high enough for my comfort level. I
think with 38's would have plenty of clearance.

P45 with 42mm tire pushes the clearance limits.
Sidepulls are limiting factor, not allowing you to move fender higher, away
from tire.
P45 just barely wide enough for a Hetre 42mm tire.

Personally I love drop bars. They are my favorite bars to use. :)
The bike falling over can move a lever out of place. Then it is up to the
rider if it matters to them or not how perfect they realign it, and the
procedure they use.
Drops are not, in and of themselves, hard to set
Nothing on initial build.
But if your levers ever need relevelling, you have to remove all levers housing
and bartape to repeat the levelling process to get an accurate result.

Seems convenient to have reflectors on pedals, like the MKS Sneaker peals
do. Just jump on and ride.
No need to buy ankle cuffs and then have to put them on and store them

Bb drop and bb height are two different things. I am talking about bb height as
I measured from floor to bottom of bb shell, though it is traditionally
measured from floor to bb center
