Someone recently asked for the actual width of the 38mm Marathon
Racers. I measured mine with a digital caliper and, as I recall, they
were at about 39mm. They are mounted to Sun Ryno Lite rims, which are

. But for a bike that's more dialed in for
off-road riding, like the Bomba or the Hunqa, it's probably a good
idea. Even for the bigger AHH, it can't hurt. It's definitely a
distinctive look!

saddle by about an inch, which seems pretty reasonable. Especially
considering that a little extra clearance might be desirable for a
bike that would be ridden off-road, as Bill pointed out.
