a super sturdy rear rack that allows the seat to attach directly into the
rails of the rack.
For those interested it's a Steco Power Safety carrier, and appears to only

Used these on a Rivendell Redwood 650b conversion - plenty of large-volume
tires in my stable right now, so switching back to 700c road build.
In case you have a similar Redwood, Romulus, or later version Ram that had
increased clearances - for 650b conversion, these fit great with adequate

I believe EVO just refers to the Evolution Line which is a group of
Schwalbe's higher-end tires. I believe the Thunder Burt is only offered as

So I've had an itch to build up an Albastache'd bike. Might be silly to
build up a bike only to have another handlebar option, but I'm ok with that.

Good eye! They're just regular cork grips, but dipped in amber shellac on
both ends, then clear shellacked over the entire thing.
It was an easy way to spruce up the cheaper presto-log type cork grips.

For those who still want the traditional downtube shifter shape, Dia Compe
makes them with the same ratcheting friction internals as Silver shifters.
It's cosmetically a little different, but functionally it's the same

I have some nice Horween waterproof leather.
It's a lot thinner than the Berthoud leather. IMO the Berthoud is just a fender
extender.
I'd be happy to make up a set for you (& others I suppose) for a reasonable
price.

I'd think the price would vary significantly if the stem were stuck or not.
If you don't want to deal with the stem and are selling it as-is, the price
would be much less than if you get the stem out.
Just my thoughts.
