This is especial true if you are going to use PHP or SSL.
I just like the ease in which Apache compiles and the ability to hardcode
settings into httpd/httpsd so you don't have to move things around.

l/var/lock/subsys/httpd.10212' is? It's
not in my apache root dir. That looks like it should be pointing to
'/var/lock/subsys/httpd.whatever' not the html doc root.
This looks like the install is FUBARed but I could be wrong.

using the rpm it sigfaulted (and yes I had the ssleay rpm) but the
self-compiled version has worked great. One thing though, the rpm did
install some helpful files so you may still want to install it but then
recompile using the tar files.

about yours. If it's a pport unit that uses a SCSI interface (ala Zip
Drives) then it maybe supported. Look through the listing.
