We've been using the Doug Hall voter for nearly 15 years. All four channels are in use. We've had zero trouble with it. Its been stable and is easy to adjust. I haven't tweaked it in several years and it still votes properly and consistently. Good luck with your project. Merry Christmas a

I just sent them to International Crystals and told them to make them for the new ham frequency. Never even thought about injection hi or low, and they came back from ICM and the repeater tuned right up. LJ Original Message: - From: converbit2003 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Fri, 26 Dec

My reply was likewise based on the information at hand and the near impossibility of finding 5-tone decoders. But even given that, it seems like a lot of overkill to use an "exotic" format. I'm certainly not opposed to experimenting and learning, but the original post didn't really give us a hint

Larry, I just bought one and it was on the 462 RX. Do you order crystals for low or high injection? Right now, the crystal is a low injection at 451 . Richard --- In Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com, "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > We have lots of UHF MSR-2

Well, I do know Europe uses a lot of 5-tone equipment, but the fact that you had a lot of it was missing from your original post, so don't be surprised that your replies were skewed based on that missing fact. I'm not 100% positive, but I THINK you will find that there are two 5-tone formats - tha

That is to bad. I wish my RLC-3 had 5/6 tone encoding. I have to use 2 tone encoding made by macros. 5/6 tone systems are easier on the battery life of pagers. [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > Thanks for the only positive response I received about 5 tone. Seems like > > anything new here meets wit

Hi Art, Thanks for the only positive response I received about 5 tone. Seems like anything new here meets with a "not invented here" attitude. From a controller-builder's perspective: There are over 2,000 6K and 7K controllers in the field that have had the ability to generate 5-tone pages (co

Bradly Glen, Thanks for the only positive response I received about 5 tone. Seems like anything new here meets with a "not invented here" attitude. We do not use a lot of 5 tone radios here in the US, but recently there have been a lot of European radios being dumped on the market. I purchased

I use a simple one transistor circuit with a thermistor and variable pot in the base to trigger the fan on at an adjustable set point. The transistor drives a small 12v relay that switches on the two 12v fans mounted on the heatsink of an R100. Art - KC7GF Yahoo! Groups Links To visit
