Amen Paul, In the real commercial radio world... when working on or into combiner systems... some people would give their first born to have less than 2.5 dB loss per channel. Although the entire path to the antenna can be a lossy son of a gun, it is the only real game in town worth playing.

Purchased a nice RFS Systems model PCC150-B off E-Bay set for 158.1 mhz. Sent it to factory for realignment to 2 meter band. Required test for magnet and reglue, replacement of a coil and re adjustment, modification of filter, reset isolator output trap. Cost was $125 plus shipping back in May
