The WX-200 is excellent, using that one here with 125 watt transmitter and
no decense at all. I'm sure it can be adapted to many other controllers, as
all it does it separates the transmits and feeds the audio out.

I have the Maxtrac programmed for a low output on PL receive.
I have verified this is working.
I have the signal from the Maxtrac connected to pin 6 on the DB 25.
I have verified P3 pin 7

Steve,
Good luck with your RC1000v, I've had good results from those over
the years.
I've got my 1000v schematic out and there is an NPN transistor 'Q9'

it's base in series with P3-7-- and a pullup 20k R50 to +5 at the P3-
Just pick up a Micor or MASTR II. With the front end of those tuned to
162 MHz (or even 152 MHz) it will never see your 2M repeater. Or, use a

standard alert RX SAME decoder to the MASTR II or Micor and crystal it

John,
Thanks for the quick reply.
And, thanks to your detailed description, I'm up and running.
R51 was not installed on the board. It looked like he was inverting
the signal, but I could not be sure. There are no values in the
silkscreen.
The board I have is RC-1000V Rev I.
I hope this helps

I know a liitle off topic, my apologies, but I am looking for a 100'
to 120' self suppoting tower, can be medium duty, only going to hold a
small antenna somewhere near the NW Indiana area. Needs to be on the
ground, and best possible price around $500.00 as budget is tight.
Thanks. Email
Thanks for the update. When I was president of the Cincinnati FM Club and we
inquired of Federal Officials we were told absolutely NOT to retransmit NOAA
weather broadcast which is why we set up the system that we had, and still
have. I have talked to several other system operators around the

How long ago was that? The rules were changed around 10 years ago (maybe
a little more). Maybe when you asked that WAS the case. No debate - just
stating a fact.

for the system checked into it since they are still operating under the same
