Just pick up a Micor or MASTR II. With the front end of those tuned to 162 MHz (or even 152 MHz) it will never see your 2M repeater. Or, use a set a front end out of one. For a real sweet WX radio, just interface a standard alert RX SAME decoder to the MASTR II or Micor and crystal it up for your

John, Thanks for the quick reply. And, thanks to your detailed description, I'm up and running. R51 was not installed on the board. It looked like he was inverting the signal, but I could not be sure. There are no values in the silkscreen. The board I have is RC-1000V Rev I. I hope this helps
