The CH751 key is a generic cabinet key used by many manufacturers including
Square D, Soundolier, and other non-radio manufacturers. The 2135 and 2553 are
pure Motorola, reserved by Chicago Lock (the manufacturer) for only Motorola.
The BF-10A key is pure GE as is the GE1000 key. THere are
in reduced gain and a
pretty messed up pattern.
I don't know if I'd worry a whole lot about adding a fourth element- the three
element antenna will deliver excellent results.

... Hadn't run across
it ever since until this piece showed up. Another conversation piece I
guess..

Can someone tell me what the characteristics of this cable are. I tried google
and it didn't seem to know.. I sort of think it might be a lossy coax but
not sure.
Thanks

They have also fought for me on issues that went bad and found in my favor
100% of the time.. again usually in days.. not weeks. as they have specific
time policies for arbitration.. and they are quite reasonable.

Some of you will recall that I had problems with Paypal when ordering a

I have a vhf radio presently on 162mhz made by E.F Johnson.
It is a small unit, but I can't find a combo. It has a
FCC ID ATH90F2427152. The number is very faded and hard
to read.
Can anyone tell me anything about these. Are the useful
for hams and how can they be programmed.
Thanks

As I recall it was an 8051 family CPU... hardware
duplication is not the issue..
I built a couple along the way. I know where one
was and probably still is.. the other I sold at
Dayton a number of years back...

Maybe that could change in light
for different versions was it had to
account for how a given PLL was programmed and

On the contrary, the docs were very enlightening.
Perhaps the reason there was little interest was the fact
such as Maxtrac and almost ALL the
GE-et-al 900 radios share a common PLL chip.. it is not magic to program
