I have a 440 repeater at a high mountain location.
I would like to know the interior temperature of the repeater building.
The building is heated.
Does anyone know how I can connect a voice sytem to the 440 repeater to
transmit the temperature, when the repeater ID's?

I talked to DB once about the DB 4060, and the cables are the same length for
all of the DB 4060-A, B and C series duplexers.
So according to DB you do not need to change the cables.

duct.
I surprised how sticky the stuff was and you can cut it to fit the joint.

You can go to the FCC website to find the license information and the license
will have the coordinates for the location of the repeaters or bases, whatever
you are looking for.Then punch the coordinates into Google Maps and it should

It might be easy to mount the repeater outside the wall and directly
(closer) to the antenna.
Motorola and GE both make weatherproof cabinets. The best one to get is a
former traffic control box, they are water and weatherproof. You might need
a heater for the winter but that is easy
Permatex makes a version of it and it is called Anti-Seize, usually in a
grey container and if it gets thick, just pour in and mix a little bit of
engine oil to thin it.
You should be able to get it almost any where.
Works great on everything.

All commercials radios have locks on them. The lock is so that the radio can
be locked into the mounting bracket, #1 so no one steals it, #2 so it does
not become a flying projectile if the vehicle is in a crash, and # 3 to keep
people from messing with the radios. You would be surprise
WE did about the same thing but the cabinet was in the basement and it had
to go up a circular staircase. Plus we did not have enough room to keep it
away from the wall.
So we spent a lot of time taking it apart and then going back together was
easier.
Much lighter with out everything in it.
