Trouble with basic Git configuration posting diffs
Hi, This looks a bit of FAQ, but I tried working through the solutions I found posted without success. Basically, I can't create reviews using git and git diff. I've tried both the command line line version of git-diff and using post-review. I got this: Error uploading diff The generated diff file was empty. Re: Process for moving older RB database to new install
Hello again, I found the 1.5 install instructionshttp://www.reviewboard.org/docs/manual/1.5/admin/installation/linux/again. Everything has gone ok up to the point of installing Reviewboard itself. It looks like I want to easy_install the 1.5.5 version in herehttp://downloads.reviewboard.org/releases/ReviewBoard/1.5/ . But the Installing Development Releases pagehttp://www.reviewboard.org/docs/manual/1.5/admin/installation/development-releases/#installing-development-releasesonly has instructions for installing the latest from a particular major version, which makes it look like I should do something like this: easy_install -f http://downloads.reviewboard.org/releases/ReviewBoard/1.5/ -U ReviewBoard But how can I point easy_install at the 1.5.5 version? Re: Process for moving older RB database to new install
Hi, You can install a specific one by doing ReviewBoard==1.5.5 The problem you're going to hit is that, back in the 1.5.5/early 1.6 days, we had dependencies listed like Django=1.2, but this will break for a new install, because the latest versions won't work with 1.5.5. Assuming your Python versions are the same, try copying your site-packages directory from one server to another. That should help get you going. If a review has unresolved issues, show an X and the count of unresolved issues on a red background, otherwise show the checkmark and ship-it count on the green background. This would provide one column which can give the status of the review request as far as a go/no-go decision. Re: Issue 2240 in reviewboard: Error while running the commad - post-review multitest.txt
Comment #7 on issue 2240 by Jan.Koprowski: Error while running the commad - post-review multitest.txt http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=2240 Hi it looks more like a setup problem then implementation issue. If /vobs/vob-name/multitest.txt exists and path is good it means your Review Board (HTTP Server, mod_wsgi, mod_python or FastCGI process) works with credentials (user and groups) which does not have acces to this view and vobs. Depends on what you use you should try to spawn your FastCGI process with different credentials, as user with access to all necessery views and vobs or if you are using mod_wsgi use http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/wiki/ConfigurationDirectives#WSGIDaemonProcess to change credentials of your Review Board instance. -- You received this message because this project is configured to send all issue notifications to this address. Re: Issue 2341 in reviewboard: post-review doesn't handle multiple repositories based on the same vob (clearcase)
Comment #4 on issue 2341 by Jan.Koprowski: post-review doesn't handle multiple repositories based on the same vob (clearcase) http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=2341 Hi, Right now Review Board does not support multiple source vobs views nor UCM model. I've hard to translate oids outside of vob context so I've implement everything considering you are working inside vob. Becuase in vob oids translation works. This is something we of course want to deliver but right now I'm straggling some technical problems how to implement that. If you can share some input or ideas how this could be implement I'm happy to hear anything which could help. -- You received this message because this project is configured to send all issue notifications to this address. Re: Issue 2537 in reviewboard: ClearCase- The file was not found in the repository
Comment #4 on issue 2537 by Jan.Koprowski: ClearCase- The file was not found in the repository http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=2537 Hi, It looks like an Apache problem. Id o not know details of Apache default permissions under windows but you can try two things: - Run whole Apache with appropriate credentials - Run only Review Board (if you are using mod_wsgi) with appropriate credentials using http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/wiki/ConfigurationDirectives#WSGIDaemonProcess What you should do is to create dedicated user which can read all necessery VOBs and views (read-only user is perfect choice) and spawn Apache or Review Board as this user. -- You received this message because this project is configured to send all issue notifications to this address.
