From: "Jaymee Payan" [EMAIL PROTECTED] Another thing I wanted to discuss...I would like to know who here actually enjoys "The Profit"? SDRE is my favorite band and all but I absolutley detest that song. No offense to those who like it. The beginning just kills all hope of me ever liking it.

i cannot for the life of me believe that SDRE cannot keep bassists. what's going on? you'd think they'd be able to keep SOMEONE. the situation is exceptional. it's not like sunny day's songs require root-note-only basslines. that lets the creative freedom issue be solved for everyone (except

i'm sure some songs had to be removed to add others, but the prophet is an excellent song, well worth being on the album. who knows, maybe once the band gets settled, maybe they will release a live album that they even approve of. just my two cents. raymond

My take on the Prophet is that it is an amazing song, but that introductory chant is just too hokey for my taste. Listening to the album, sometimes I can ignore the chanting and enjoy the song as it builds, and other times I just have to skip it. When SDRE plays it live though minus the

i've always loved that song. perhaps my favorite on the album, and its mainly because of the beginning...oh well. has anyone ever read the book The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran? i've always thought the song was based on it. ronnie loves Roses In Water... - Original Message - From: Paul

I go through phases but there aren't many songs I really dislike by SDRE! I didn't really start listneing to 100 million till well after I bought the album, though. I can't believe someone said they didn't like track 4 on HIFTBSO - that is the single most depressing(and therefore, best :)) song
