Lisa- I have used Xanthan gum to make gels, a tiny amount, just needs to be heated very briefly, like 15-20 seconds in a microwave, in water, cool, then add the CS. There are other gels like konjac root- Glucomannan; Guar gum, various seaweed gums, etc. You could try various ones and see what
