It's actually called D-Mannose. I use it. I buy it in powder form and mix it in with my protein shake in the morning. My last UTI (last week) was helped using it. When they tried to grow a culture it didn't happen. The one prior to that did, when I wasn't using D-Mannose. Donna From:

For lung infections I use DMSO 20% and EIS 80% in a nebulizer for ten minutes every hour or so. Urinary tract infections really do benefit from the sugar Mannose, which is what is in cranberry juice, and prevents the bacteria from sticking to the bladder walls. Not sure what type of gastric
