A pocket will often trap a foreign onject in it and the body will
attempt to reject it with inflammation and infection.
I fought with a pocket for a decade, sometimes a waterpic full of CS would
dislodge the foreign matter and everything would be OK for a while,
sometimes the dentist would
losing the tooth anyway. When they die, they die -- but I've kept mine going
for an additional four years this way.
I'm sorry that you lost your job. If you can't afford the magnets, I'll be
happy to send you two.

Or injecting tea tree oil into the pocket. I would do this with a monoject not
a hypodermic needle.

1. gently brush teeth for about 15 seconds
2. Rinse
3. Mixture of 3.5% H2O2 at 90% volume with DMSO at 10% volume
4. Swish about one tablespoon for about 30 seconds
5. Spit and rinse
6. Repeat 4 and 5 except wait 5 minutes to rinse
7. Repeat 3 times per day after meals, preferable
