try leafnode instead, it's simple and works. I wouldn't bother
with inn unless you're a largish ISP.
I've had suck and inn before, when I had the two BBSs, etc, but my isp

Have you checked that the history files that you have are in the
directory that inn expects? The directory is configured with `pathdb'
in inn.conf:
[johnc@wombat ~]$ grep pathdb /etc/news/inn.conf
pathdb: /var/lib/news

This version uses /usr/local/news and inn.conf is correct. I've also
checked that nothing contains
