One there is no way to decontaminate it short of sanding to the layer
past it. But as you sand it pushes it down so you have to change paper
frequently and vacuum it out.

Unfortunately, it's hard to find and expensive for a small amount. RS used
to carry it but no longer does. If the silicone has an acidic smell, i.e.
it smells like vinegar, it will cause corrosion in electrical applications.

measuring the inside diameter. I have come up with 9/16ths or 14 mm

Ive run all the endpoints to the max, Ive put the trim at its lowest position. If I use a 4.8v battery with a servo in the throttle channel, it works fine. Ive emailed Mike at Kontronics for a copy of the instructions so maybe that will help.
