It's helpful information.  I decided to go with Fusion, which I already hand in mind anyhow.  I was going to go with a Autodesk Composite / AE workflow, that is a mixed mess IMO :) Like I said, I don't have hate toward AE, it's just if you factor in the price of AE plus some effective plug-ins

Fusion is great with Softimage & it's 3D environment is fantastic. Getting things back and forth isn't as easy as I'd like, though. You can export your scenes as FBX, but Fusion won't/doesn't see camera animation in FBX files from XSI for some reason. So you have to export your camera as a dotXS
