Not necessarily. Remember the generic phrase: Space on the slope, calc on the
flat. So, you may be at 130 sq ft on the slope, but if it translates to 110 sq
ft on the flat, then you calc for 110 sq ft.

You need to know the method of determining fire flow in your jurisdiction.
Once you know that, determine the fire flow and the number of hydrants req'd
to be used to get that flow.
Then, just simple hazen Williams formulae. You will have starting flow and
pressure. Plug and chug to prove it.
Still only half correct.
I still wait for the day when the plan is a dot on a map and says sprinkler
guy to provide system and all of building.

Is this a solid mezzanine? I guess that I see adjacent in this case meaning

I have been required to have the “flutes” packed with mineral wool in order to
use panel construction in circumstances like you indicate.

Really no different. I doubt you will find longitudinal bracing listed for
cpvc. You will have to put a short branch (same size as main) perpendicular
to the main and brace that with a lateral brace to act as your longitudinal
brace on the main.

If your building code gives you 13R, then just treat it as areas outside the
dwelling unit. You then just pretty much default to 0.15 / 1500 with
appropriate design area modifications.

YES. AutoSprink all the way. I can bring in REVIT models, run clash
detection, get suggested arm arounds, etc. I can export to DWG or RVT (2 step
