Can anyone tell me why my LMS v8, even after a complete rescan this
afternoon (it did this before the rescan by the way), shows some albums
as if they are not albums but individual tracks? Like this (an "album"
with 40+ tracks, different artists and NO year, but all in the same
album):

Topping E30 is not my problem, Topping works perfectly. The problem is

All looks OK. Not sure about LC_ALL setting.
Can you try the command below. If it works it will create a WAV file of
the selected track - which should be tested . If it fails it may give
an error message. Filename is very unusual

A similar technique works with the default skin. It uses the player MAC
address rather than the name

A workaround may be to change your locale settings, if the locale is non
"english" for time settings.

IIRC One of the reason for the latest patch was to handle time format
where fractions have to use period.

Looking at the problem differently.
The current player is kept as a cookie.
What version of Firefox ?
Have you enabled/changed any security setting that could affect saving
cookies ?
You can use the Storage Inspector to check the value of the
"Squeezebox-player" cookie.
or change the usb outlet socket you are using on the pi, from 2 to 3 or
vice versa
or a different usb cable

OK - nothing unusual about file format so shoudl be OK.
What version of flac are you running.
Try the following from a shell prompt.
/usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Bin/x86_64-linux/flac
It should produce a banner with the text that it has been patched for
LMS (my highlighting)

Separate from the File Types issue there does seem to be a CUE parsing
issue as there are a lot of the "cur" module error which typified
problems in Cue parsing.

Drop down is NOT empty, that is the question? It's not empty, but it's
not chosen every time i renew page! Do you see volume slider? It's
inactive! You need to chose Player every time after page reload. I see

The LMS does not work without internet.
If I disconnect the modem from the router, the players stop working und
LMS Web UI freezes.
The internal network does work and is 100% functional.
