Thanks Michael, I'll do as you suggest and submit a bug report. Are you
able to give me a link to save me hunting for the web page (which
doesn't seem to be in the 'Quick Links' drop-down on this forum page)?

This is interesting, someone had the same requirement years ago. When
they disabled fade they heard a couple of seconds of the following
track. That definitely doesn't happen now so maybe this code has been
changed before.

of my SB3 units, with volume fixed at 100% (otherwise I couldn't play

Would my suggestion to add a second to the sleep time be practical?
Don't know. I'd have to test this. I could imagine that in some use
cases this could lead to new issues. Eg. some plugins trigger actions
when a track ends etc. The fact that this seems to be intermittent makes
me wonder
And yes, with an MBA I well-understand the principles of 'supply and
demand'. But you should also be aware of the 'silent majority'. This
is the large portion of the population who don't complain unless
something really serious has affected them. For minor niggles they just
'grin and bear it'.

Michael,
Sorry, but it's too far back for me to find the correspondence with
Logitech. In hindsight it was more likely

Yes, I too had concluded that the sleep function, even for 'at end of
song', was simply time-based.
But no, just adding a second would not be a

I first reported this (to Logitech) in 2007, shortly after buying two
SB3 units (Logitech were selling off the Slim branded ones for a good
price!). They agreed it was a bug, but did nothing about it (surprise,
surprise!).
Would you have a reference to this discussion?
Most likely this didn't

Okay, I've played with this some more. I turned shuffle on and the track
did not advance for a couple of times, I thought that shuffle may be
