If trackstat is the problem then surely when running in Safe Mode then
trackstat wouldve loaded and LMS would've run okay! Or am I missing
something?

Thanks Michael. Is TrackStat still maintained? Is there any alternative
that does something similar?
Not sure on either question. But I'm not even saying that Trackstat was
bad or faulty. But maybe something's wrong with the data. It would be
good to understand why it takes that long to

But I do use TrackStat quite a lot.

Can you please post a server.log file when LMS was started in 'Safe
Mode'?
Some other thing to try:
while LMS is not yet started, rename LMS' cache folder so that LMS will
rebuild everything from scratch. But before starting LMS, go in

Thanks Michael. I appreciate everybodys help, but I realise fixing an
intermittent fault is much more difficult than fixing something that
just does not work at all.
Two things I found in there:
- the SongInfo plugin is creating a lot of noise due to some
outdated/invalid instructions. It's

Starting for a few hours. Just looked over at my Transporter and it’s
back on the network and LMS is now running. This is a very odd problem.

Thatll be because the server is running or maybe attempting to start.
Youll need to stop it and then restart with Safe Mode.

Hi
Are you using the Music and Artist Information plug-in? That gave me

I don't have a solution for you, but I would
- check the firewall rules or switch firewall off temporarily
- disable plugins for which you have messages in your log file, like
trackstat, songinfo, upnp

Any ideas? Some days it seems to work ok, other times it does not
working. Currently says LMS Starting. Normally it says LMS Running. When
I open the Control Panel and go to Diagnostics it has the following:
LMS Server. Stopped
Server IP Address. 192.168.0.2
Port 3482 (slimproto). Failed

The Server Log File appears too big to upload, so I have renamed the
existing Server Log file which has forced LMS to create a new small
Server Log file. I am going to upload this small server log file. Is
this any use for analysis?
If not i may have to find a way of uploading the big Server

Just confirming that this is the way mine is configured. I also start
LMS under my user account, but from what I gather this is not necessary.

In the Windows search bar, type "services" (no quotes). In the
resulting window double-click on "Logitech Media Server". Confirm on
"General" tab, startup type is "Automatic". On "Recovery" tab, set all
three failure actions to "Restart the service".
What are your settings on the "Logon"
LMS has failed to load after rebooting my windows 10 PC. Same problem,
just saying LMS Starting instead of LMS Running. Very strange.

Turned on my Windows 10 PC this morning and LMS is not running properly.
But it was working fine yesterday.
In the system tray it says Logitech Media Server Starting, but normally
that changes to Running. But today stays on Starting.
PC is running Windows 10.
I then tried upgrading to LMS 7.9 2
