After experiencing trouble with my Players (using Philippe's UPnP / DLNA
bridge-plugin) I figured out that my machine to refuse doing updates for
quite a while by now. According to the "information tab" in the LMS
settings I still do run v7.9.4 on my QNAP TS-119:

If you have set NIGHTLY back to 0, it wont update to the latest

But another way is to download the latest version of what ever you want,
and put it in the download share of the QNap.
Then stop and start QLogitechMediaServer, it will install that if it

Thanks - it's not a space issue. What I did was amend my .conf to set
NIGHTLY=1 and that downloaded and installed "Logitech Media Server
Version: 8.3.1 - 1667914563 @ Tue 08 Nov 2022 02:58:54 PM CET" OK. I've
now set NIGHTLY back to 0. So not sure exactly what happened.
I tried to reproduce the error, but according to me its works.
If you look close, it can not download the newest release file.
What could case this, if there is not enough space on you're server.

I do not have any experience of running things on QNAP - but as a
general rule ... for scanning issues check the LMS scanner.log plus, in
all cases of something odd happening, check the LMS server.log.
Both are available from the LMS Default web interface and you can
increase the logging level

Yes, tried with 9000 & 9002, no difference.
I think the problem is that the Slimserver hasn't been installed for

Running a TS-439 and recently updated the firmware to 4.2.6
Afterwards, I also updated QLogitechMediaServer to 2.25.01
When i went to open the server (port :9001) there is an error message
'Unable to Connect'
I've deleted and re-installed QLogitechMediaServer and still can't see

I have QLMS running in a holiday home. Sometime between Sept 21 and now
it has stopped working; it plays for around 1 minute and then the player
(Logitech wireless codec) crashes. Is there a known issue with recent
QTS updates, perhaps the disabling of the admin account, that might be

A strange thing, a app soes not need a digitale signature.
That only used and important when installing or updating
QLogotechMediaServer through the appcentre.
I think some where you have a sercurity option enabled, which is causing
this.

My QLogitechMediaServer keeps getting stopped by the QNAP NAS because if

I installed QLogitechMediaServer from the qnapclub.eu repo on a TS-453
running QTS5.
Everything seems to work properly (Web GUI with Material Skin, TIDAL,
local FLAC, ...) but the Qobuz plug-in creates time-out errors like:

It seems that there is no access to internet on the QNap.
If you changed from internet provider, have a close look on the
networksettings of you're QNap nas network settings..
Otherwise visited the QNap forum, to look there for more info.
The trouble lays in the QNap nas no internet access.
QLMS was running for several years.
When I changed from provider and got the Ziggo Connectbox I had some
problems, but could resolve them by restarting LMS in a TTY session.
Now suddenly the SQB Touch and Duet stopped working indicating to
replace the 7.9 version by a newer version.

But i think why, and maybe a small change, which is gone be fixed in

I opened a thread about QLMS and QTS 5.0 to separate it from this

Now there are four alternatives:
1. QTS 4.x and QLMS 2.21 - no changes

I use LMS 8.2.1 without automatic upgrade to anything
