It sure points to some network problems if players disconnects , that
basically never happens .
I'd the network cards sleeps that's suspicious and/or if the OS goes to
sleep .
Sleeping OS is fixed by using the WOL "wake on LAN" features if our
network card ,check that setting to , so that the
Ahm... this is not new in 7.9: those link don't work in 7.7 either... so

Unfortunately the question "has it ever worked?" has not been answered yet.
Can you work on the NAS command line? I'd start by deleting the
library.db. Check where the cache folder is located in
Settings/Information. Then restart LMS. If the file itself was corrupted
this would sort it out.
I see that I'm not the only one.

Advanced search seems to work, but is quite difficult on a mobile
device.
Would the quick search work on a desktop browser?
And could you please provide your log files, too? Please
I have two players connected. DEPRECATED warnings are not correlated.
They are appearing exactly 4 times a day, at 5:00 AM which is my set
rescan time.
Could you please provide the scanner.log as well?
I don't care about preference pane, and suppose anyone who stays at
OSX/PPC does not care,
I see that I'm not the only one.

I'd suggest that after the initial scan the db file becomes locked for
some reason - hence it can't be opened on the second scan - but you
really need Michael Herger to cast his eye over the log file to tell you
what is going on.
Trust me though that running LMS on something different and

Answering my own question... if the RSS feed and enclosed audio feeds
support HTTP AUTH then you can use, for example, in the Podcasts plugin
page to add a new feed:
Code:

Not sure if this will work if only the
Does anyone know if there's a way to use password-protected podcasts
with LMS?

Very nice!

If you want to persevere with the Thecus then I would troubleshoot as
follows
Remove all music files.
Add them back in blocks of 10 CDs to start with and rescan.
If LMS borks on the first 10 then it sounds like your db is screwed but
delete them and try a different 10 to be sure.
If it accepts
