The plugin is just a directory - the ability to play URLs will dependon
yoru LMS and the playter setup.
For any problem,it always helps if you give full details of station you
are trying to play and your LMS system
If the WBZ station you are trying to play is the "The Sport Hub" - it is

there may be, but have you considered copying those files to a portable
USB drive that you can attach directly to the RPi.
Well worth a thought. You could consider it a backup :-)

Looks like it is not there.
So - set it again via Alsamixer and then
sudo alsactl store
pcp bu
That still might not restore on a reboot but I think you can make pCP
restore the settings that alsactl saved by using the pCP ALSA Mixer
control (pCP web interface) to make a change then it will
Within the past week, I've been unable to listen to my two local news
stations, Boston WBZ and WRKO.
Both stations will play for approximately 30 seconds then stop but if I
press the PRESET where I've stored them, they will again play but again
for only approximately 30 seconds.

New, but related question - I think.
I've got LMS and Jivelite running on a Pi4 machine - everything is quite
amazing - but - I have a huge music library in iTunes on a macPro on the
network - over 2 TB worth of music - much of it lossless. Is there a
way to share this to the RPi? In the past -
tc@pCP:~$ arecord -L

I suspect that it can be done with alsactl to save the configuration
once it is working.
However, if it is a distinct device name then you might be able to tell
wavin to use that instead of the default input.
Take a look at

That's OK Paul, give me a poke if you need help :)
M2P is a bit busy but installing LMS is easy.
Ignore all the nags about getting a license
How can I check that?

Hi,
I can successfully use a Sound Blaster X-Fi HD soundcard to input an
analog source to LMS (with wavin:default) in a raspberry pi and I am
very happy about that.
However, the same analog inputs of the X-Fi HD can also be used as a
phone stage (connecting a turntable directly to it).

Hi Paul
I found my Odroid u3 but that was running Lubunto 14.4 which had a
Max2play image installed on it. I was able to upgrade the LMS to Version
8.2.0
The Perl version was 18.2 which would likely present problems with some
plugins
I can't find the eMMC reader / write module so I

No I didn't think to do that. It was showing in the taskbar but greyed
out and reporting stopped. I also couldn't connect any of my players so
the server wasn't running.
Assuming files haven't change, settings are the same and file scanning
works OK on the M1 processor (which should be OK as it is ARM) - the
issue could be performance rather than settings.
If LMS is a bit slow to respond to request for data - then gapless may
fail.
You indicate thta LMS has
According to the log it did restart. And there's no sign of failure in
there. Did you check the taskmanager to see whether it really is not
running?

I am on the nightly branch and upgraded to the latest version this
