I can now officially confirm that the problem is solved. Just did

still there and accessible :-)
Solution was described above.

OK; I think I found the issue:
I have recently changed my NAS password to a more complex password by
using special characters.
Looking in the boot record I found that it took the last few characters

I run synology DSM6 and 7 on different NAS devices, and probably about
10 pCP installs running. I run both CIFS and NFS connections. I
upgrade my pCP devices constantly through my development cycle, and
rebuild from scratch. I never have an issue, as long as the NAS is
powered up.

Did it have the error with fan at full speed etc? Lots of TS-251s have

This doesn't make sense.
I have a number of pCP/LMS installs that connect to a NAS albeit a QNAP
- they all work perfectly and the mount is always there as long as the
NAS is up when the pCP boots.
Could it be that you have set your NAS to sleep if not required - I
don't know whether that is

I changed the Vers from 3.0 to 2.0 (just to do a change), remonted the
disk succesfully and everything was working fine again.
So by now I would say I can repeat this failure over and over again.
The remounting of the NAS is

Just a simple question (I think).
I have LMS server on my Study PC and access it from a RPi3B with digi
hat, loaded with Picoreplayer.
If I use the Tidal plug-in, which IP address will Tidal see, the RPi or
the server PC's?
Thanks
