I select and play a single track and halfway through the play it selects the next 5 tracks (or 10 in my case as I have changed the number selected). As it moves through the list and is playing the second to last track it selects the next 5 (10). It seems the only time it fails to select tracks is if I manually move forward to the last track but that is seldom the case. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS problems with time being reported in Media Scan Details
I am using Raspberry pi3 with pCP and nightly updates of LMS. I have set the correct system time in pCP and correct time is showing on my LMS Touch screens. Internet modem/router time has been checked and is set correctly. My computer system is displaying correct time. My problem is that currently I have Rescan Media Library set to do a daily scan at 8.30am local time. Historically it has always behaved and started the task at that time, taking just a few minutes to complete. In the last few months I have noticed that the scan is commencing exactly 1.5 hours later than the set time, i.e. at 10.00am local time. This happens every day. Has anyone else noticed this, and more to the point, am I missing a setting somewhere? It isn't a huge problem as I can work around it, but am curious to solve it! Am still experiencing the same problem. Apart from restarting my full system... pCP, LMS, wifi router and access points... nothing has changed but the playlist has reverted to one three days ago. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 7.9.2, reverts to previous playlist after restart
Pi3 with pCP 4.0.0b6 and LMS 7.9.2 nightly. Using DSTM I select a seed and of course it populates correctly with new tracks and the playlist grows. That is all good, no problems with DSTM, but if I stop LMS and then restart pCP (and obviously LMS) then LMS will often revert to the playlist I had played the day before, not the current playlist. Hi Paul, "refreshing" the synced connection seemed to be the fix, thanks for your help on it. Played for 4 hours without an issue, mix of Spotify and my library, no issues. Reconnected 2nd player and again no issues. Played for 2 hours, then synced the 2nd to the 1st. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS pausing when streaming Spotty and LastFM
As an aside, I have just come to realise that DSTM with LastMix ticked actually streams from Spotty; I naively thought that it was streaming from LastFM, I realise now that it only pulls the mix down from there! I have two SBTs connected to the pi3, and they are both synced. This set-up has been status quo for a couple of years and to be honest, I had the same issue about a year ago, but then it was not just streaming services but my own library connected direct to the pi. I have only become aware of the problem with LastFM and Spotty in the last couple of weeks as the previous issue was solved a year ago, but I can't recall the fix! [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS pausing when streaming Spotty and LastFM
Using pi3 with LMS 7.9.2 always updated. SBT is connected by wireless to internet modem. The connection is used by other devices and has no streaming issues. Highest rate FLAC files stream from my library over wifi to SBT with no problems. Usually if there is a buffering issue the screen reads "re-buffering", but that is not happening when Spotty and LastFM (via DSTM), there are random pauses of 6 seconds but not in every song. I have tried dropping the bitrate in Spotty from 320 down to 160 but behaviour is the same. I am confident it is not an internet/wi-fi issue as I have tested both with other devices using Spotify at extreme rate. Any thoughts? [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS library rescan time stopped working
About a month ago I set up the rescan timer for a daily scan of changed and new files. It worked on the dot every morning at the selected time. I have noticed over the past few days that it no longer scans automatically. I have checked all settings, restarts, etc. pCP on the Pi3 has correct time zone, although if it were wrong it would just happen at the wrong time, it doesn't auto scan at all. I have updated LMS with every nightly update as they become available. Currently LMS 7.9.1 - 1510723637 Cheers, David *Server* pi3 pCP LMS *Media* ReadyNAS DuoV2 *Lounge/dining areas* SBT > Denon AVR2113 > Bose Acoustimass10 / Krix Seismix3 18" 300w RMS custom cinema sub (& AR 77XB turntable, Stanton 680MkII / Grado F-1+ > NAD7155 to phono pre-amp > Amp etc) *Family/kitchen* SBT > Denon AVRX3000 zone 1 > Krix Acoustix F, Centrix C, Holographix R & Original Seismix 7 15" 400w RMS sub *Alfresco* as above zone 2 > Krix Tropix *Others* SB Player/androids > Bose Soundlink Mini *SBT/SB Player Remotes* Squeeze Ctrl/androids DavidBulluss's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=60056 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108293 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Don't Stop The Music / LastMix
I am giving LastMix a try in conjunction with DSTM. I have it set to local songs only. Scrobbling local and Spotify tracks. Quite impressed! It always adds 5 songs on to to list at a time. The first 5 added are very close to the seed track, but as each 5 is added it wanders away quickly. I understand why, so my question is: Can the setting for number of songs added be changed? Have been searching for it but no luck. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS, pCP. Raspbery, & Spotty... playlists help needed!
Hi, Posting this in the main LMS thread as not sure if it is to do with Raspberry, pCP, or SPOTTY! Changed from ReadyNAS with LMS 7.9.1 to a Raspberry pi3 with pCP and LMS 7.9.1 so that I can enjoy SPOTTY, and it is great! Have now learned how to change file paths in my saved playlists so that I can point pCP LMS at the playlists folder in the ReadyNAS and it works (much thanks to kidstypike & d6jg for their help on how to do that). Have now noticed that any playlist that is totally made up of tracks from my own library works 100%. Any playlist that also includes any Spotify tracks will only display and play the Spotify tracks, omitting the tracks from my library. First few lines of a m3u file with my library tracks only which plays correctly: #CURTRACK 32 #EXTM3U #EXTURL:file:///mnt/media/Music/David%20music%20library/Enigma/MCMXC%20A.D.%20-The%20Limited%20Edition-/06%20Mea%20Culpa.mp3 #EXTINF:292,Mea Culpa /media/Music/David music library/Enigma/MCMXC A.D. -The Limited Edition-/06 Mea Culpa.mp3 #EXTURL:file:///mnt/media/Music/David%20music%20library/Clannad/Celtic%20Collection/06%20Robin%20(The%20Hooded%20Man).mp3 #EXTINF:172,Robin (The Hooded Man) /media/Music/David music library/Clannad/Celtic Collection/06 Robin (The Hooded Man).mp3 #EXTURL:file:///mnt/media/Music/David%20music%20library/Pink%20Floyd/The%20Wall%20[Disc%202]/06%20Comfortably%20Numb.mp3 #EXTINF:383,Comfortably Numb /media/Music/David music library/Pink Floyd/The Wall [Disc 2]/06 Comfortably Numb.mp3 First few lines of m3u file that only plays Spotify tracks, omitting local files: #EXTM3U #EXTURL:file:///mnt/media/Music/High%20definition%20music/Beatles/Beatles%20For%20Sale%2024.96/05%20I%27ll%20Follow%20The%20Sun%20.flac #EXTINF:113,I'll Follow The Sun /media/Music/High definition music/Beatles/Beatles For Sale 24.96/05 I'll Follow The Sun .flac #EXTURL:spotify:track:3UW7bB0bWc2sveNs07xJbT #EXTINF:269,Dreadlock Holiday spotify:track:3UW7bB0bWc2sveNs07xJbT #EXTURL:spotify:track:7lR4k3bhN5aN4WyasXk39W #EXTINF:147,Come On Down (From The Top Of That Hill) - 2005 Digital Remaster spotify:track:7lR4k3bhN5aN4WyasXk39W #EXTURL:spotify:track:1wPylf4r3s0AptIJs9cgqP #EXTINF:324,Something In The Air spotify:track:1wPylf4r3s0AptIJs9cgqP #EXTURL:file:///mnt/media/Music/David%20music%20library/Fleetwood%20Mac/Rumours/11%20Gold%20Dust%20Woman.mp3 #EXTINF:293,Gold Dust Woman /media/Music/David music library/Fleetwood Mac/Rumours/11 Gold Dust Woman.mp3 It doesn't make sense to me so any guidance appreciated. Hi, I went into the ReadyNas dashboard interface and opened the LMS Installed Add-on. Once there I unticked the left hand top box to stop LMS. Then I ticked the box for 'clean cache folder.etc.' and then 'run cleanup'. Once it had completed I restarted LMS (left top box tick and save) and once started it initiated a full library scan, after which it was running perfectly. Question, have you been keeping up with LMS 7.9 updates? I fell behind for several months once and started getting unusual issues and updating fixed them. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 7.9.0 on ReadyNas Duo V2 - unable to connect, unable to open " Free Your Music"
The system has run very well with only few glitches for a year or two. Recently the players have been working ok but alternating into "trying to connect" - three players involved, all can not be faulty at the same time. I have been running LMS 7.9.0-1459712283. Yesterday it became worse so I unticked LMS add-on, to stop it, closed down the ReadyNas, restarted ReadyNas, waited for it to be fully functioning, restarted LMS... but it seems not to start. The ReadyNas lights blink appropriately to show it starting, but when I click "Free Your Music" the browser window opens with "The connection was reset" and a try again button. I have tried waiting an hour between starting LMS and opening the browser but still have the issue. The ReadyNas is fully functioning in all other ways, no problems accessing it with the browser. I have now taken a step back and loaded the previous LMS 7.9.0-1459489175, but still the same. The players are unable to connect to the LMS in the ReadyNas. Last night before LMS refused to start, while in off mode, and also while playing music, the players were intermittently showing the "trying to connect" screen. I have never seen that when in off mode before. I can not get into LMS to check logs! Any suggestions. I am not keen on removing the LMS add-on from the ReadyNas and then installing fresh due to time it will take to get plugins back in, and settings, SmartMix mixes etc. All suggestions appreciated! [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Chromecast Bridge plugin has disappeared and LMS wants to restart continuously
Server Settings>Plugins - found Chromecast Bridge in available plugins and ticked it. Clicked "apply", ticked prompt for "restart now" for application restart. After restart the LMS home page shows a random single digit number next to the info indicator at bottom left of screen. Navigate to plugins and it is again asking for an application restart. Note that there is no reference to Chromecast Bridge plugin anywhere on that page... not active and not available. Have tried the application restart several times, as well as a ReadyNas server restart. The only thing that changes from restart to restart is the random single digit number at the info indicator on the home screen of LMS. Any advice available, apart from removing LMS and reinstalling?
