I testing to install LogitechMediaserver on Qnap ts-453a, whitout ssods
Works like a charme, but not all the added binhelpers work fine.
If i got it work, looking for away the make it in a qpkg.

And run LMS through ssods.
The problem is, that the binarch stays on i386.
And even if you copy the bins from the i686 directory to i386, the

Then do [ cd /share/*/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/ ]
And then [ ./LogitechMediaServer.sh stop ], and the [
./LogitechMediaServer.sh failsafe ]
The check if its then running do [ ./LogitechMediaServer status ], on

Tried if ShairTunes2W, but it wont load the plugin.
So no at the moment its not working, so have to look in to this.
I needed to know which perl modules are need to make it work.

It has support for flac, lame, mac(ape) and many more
( I would suggest 'Optware-NG'

you`re country/region.

Logitech Media Server: Unix Tarball (i386, x86_64, i386 FreeBSD, ARM
Version 1.09a has the i686 perl 5.24.4 build on Glibc version 2.19.
It seems that some older Qnap systsems have a ld-linux.so.2 older
version.
So then you get the error, that it wont start.
At the moment looking for a way around this.

There is no need to upgrade, if you don't use anything like airpplay.
The new release is only a upgrade for perl from 5.24 to 5.24.4 and
support for shairtunes2.

There is something wrong, with you're Qnap, Perl is ELF64/64 bits.
And this error on you're system should be fixed.
As that's says it ELF32/32 bits,

Oke tested stoping Qnap-lms from app-store, and strange give the error.
So this will needs attenion to solve.
Strangely enough Qnap-LMS is stopped.
So for now i need to do some investigation on this subject, and this
will take some time to solve.
For earthbase, install v1.02 and not the beta
I would first backup you're Cache and prefs directory some where safe.
So you can set you're configuration back !

Have a look, you can even controle al the options for the startup of
LMS.
For example i use noupnp, nodebuglog, noinfo, noimage, novideo and

Yes it sure is, not a big deal making it working on you're own Qnap.
But keeping in mind, it should also work on other Qnap devices is a big
deal.
I started working this way in april/may last year, as was getting more
and more trouble with the SSOTS/SSODS way.
And it stil is working great for,
Don't look at the 346 error, is just a check. Nothing to do with the
startup.
This error will be fixed in next release.
If you looked proper on the logfile, you would have nticed to permision
error on the prefs directory.
And i see something about ssots.
in the SlimServer directory you could

Its clear there where a few thing wrong, you're tar has a problem with
gzip, or there is some strong on you're directory layout !
( that why the SlimServer was not filled on installation ! ).
And you're old prefs and Cache from a SSODS/SSOTS
Why is there a error on /lib/libnsl.so.1, as the error is thats its a
ELF32 and not ELF64.
You can use ELF32 file beside other on QNAP, but PERL is a interpreter
and the file and libs it needs, have to be ELF64.
And there lays you're error, why LMS wont start, as Perl runs into
problem.

Thats strange, there is a lib file which does not has the good arch.
Could you do file /lib/libnsl.so.1 ?
If correct will point to another file, and then do file with the name of
that file.

You can only copy the cache and prefs directory, when you first do
./LogitechMediaServer.sh stop.
Then copy the directory, and the ./LogitechMediaServer.sh start.
Never copy those while LMS is running, it will make it crash.
The other error has to do with you available space, know where the

Could you try the following [ ps | grep [L]ogitech ]
Also strange it seems the perl can run if you do perl -V.
You don't have anything else installed which is using poort 9001

Try SlimServer/SlimServer.pl.pl --user squeezeboxserver --httpport 9001.
After that pidof SlimServer.pl I think that will work,
