Yes. It's called Weave. Unfortunately the Google SoC application for a
student to work on a bookmarks module for SeaMonkey (Firefox bookmarks
are already synced) didn't make the cut.

Sry, but if it didn't find a profile to install to, you can't expect it
to work afterwards.

I have a version of Forecastbar Enhanced optimized for SeaMonkey.

Perhaps you could try that.

Hey, Ken, what virus checker do you use?? Microsoft's, maybe??

SeaMonkey 2.0 like Firefox 3.0/3/5 uses the UPX compressor to compress
the installer executable. Unfortunately so do a lot of malware. Most
antivirus programs blacklist UPX executables and then explicitly
whitelist certain legitimate software such as Firefox. For lesser known
software like SeaMonkey (and also Firefox/Minefield nightly builds) it
takes longer for said antivirus companies to take action.

MAP, your browser problem is caused by you having one of your add-ons
that will not work with SM 1.1.17. To find out which, make yourself a
test profile (Tools-Switch Profiles-Manage Profiles).

I don't know it this will also fix your mail problem, but you never know!!

and I forgot to say, once you have created your test profile, apply one
extension at a time to the test profile, until you break it.then you
know which extension you need to un-install/find an updated version of.

FWIW, my bookmarks.html file is more than 500k.

Using the Import/Export functionality of the Bookmark Manager maybe?
Seamonkey allows import export to HTML and so does Firefox afaik.

want to send 2 original mails

2009-07-10 Thread horst39

On my account I'm getting all emails twice.
Now I want to send 2 of these double emails to my ISP in order to find
out the reason of this strange effect.
Can please somebody explain me what procedure I should use in order to
send a couple of these emails complete with all headers?
A simple forwarding allows me to send only one of these emails and not
the second one.

Thank you

How about this?

Open a composition window and draft your remarks to the ISP, promising
that the messages in question follow at the bottom of your message.

Now open one of the messages you want to forward, do CTRL-U (reveal
source code), CTRL-A (select all), CTRL-C (copy), ALT-Tab (switch to the
composition window), CTRL-V (paste). Repeat as necessary for the
messages you want to forward.

You're out of luck then.
Either you have installed extension globally (into the Seamonkey program
directory instead of the profile directory) or some other things blocks
something.
If there are extension in the program directory a new
progra-installation may be required...

Adblock Plus Corrupting Browser Window/Uninstall Add-Ons?

2009-07-10 Thread Jim J
I just upgraded to SM 1.1.17 and installed Adblock Plus. It seemed to
work fine until I installed a couple other add-ons. Now, ABP (I think)
causes a non-interactive (can't even copy the text) error/debug message
to take up the bottom third of the browser window, and the ABP button
menu entry are missing.

When I re-install SM, it's fine until I again install ABP. I'd like to
simply uninstall ABP and the other add-ons completely and start from
scratch, but how?

Thanks in advance -- Jim.
