Accessing my inbox.

I think I know what my problem is, but I don't know how to fix that problem. Suddenly, I am not able to access my Inbox. I believe that it finally reached the maximum size and will not open. The sent/trash/newsgroups etc. are all working normally. Is there any way of opening the Inbox, so

The font size in incoming email varies from huge to unreadable small. Is there a way to make ALL incoming email fonts to be what I can read ? I use Ctrl + or Ctrl mouse wheel to enlarge the small stuff, but it would be nice if ALL incoming mail displayed the same larger default size for us
