When I delete something, and try to recapture it, it is not there in the
trash folder.
Can anyone explain that?

Don't save your archives on your hard drive! During a recent repair, HP
reformatted my C:\ drive, and wiped out everything of mine when they set it
back to factory default. Use a C D- DVD!

Old is right! For a person with reactive glare problems caused by a
cataract, white on black eliminates the problem, especially when you're on
the one-eyed monster for long hours. Also, I don't understand why web
designers use light-colored fonts on white or light backgrounds. I have to

I use white on black for everything to avoid white or other light-colored
backgrounds; not just SM.
My daughter recoiled when she saw it, but it doesn't take much getting used
to, and it's real easy on the eyes.

Thanks, Barry, but I don't need magnifying. My only vision problem is glare
from a white or light background.
I can work long days with white on black, and no eyestrain or headaches. I

Due to a vision problem, I use white text on a black screen. (It's very
helpful, BTW.)
URLs show up in a light pastel blue, visited links in pink. (Those
colors are also on my browser, where I have no problem.)

Thanks to Bill Davidson's easy-to-understand instructions, I was able to
save my SeaMonkey email.
He suggested I write to explain why I'm using Outlook - not by choice, I
assure you. For years, Verizon refused to help me with Mozilla, and I hung
in, all the way from Netscape up, without any te
Through the Forum, I learned how to archive Sea Monkey and where, and I was
grateful. I've been on computers for years, but not too techie, due to
production push.
When my laptop turned blue (constant blue screens), I sent it back to HP for
repair, specifically asked them to save all my files
Archiving Mail.
I do backup to an external hard disc, but never thought of looking there,
because it wasn't set up to back up my C:\ drive; only docs, pics, etc.
In future, I will be making a manual copy of the archives in the C:\ drive.

Sometimes SeaMonkey doesn't let me decide where to save files and sends
them to Download Manager.
Sometimes I can't open and re-locate a file from Download Manager.
Is there any way to cut out or control Download Manager?

"Control +" increases content in the individual messages box,

I noted fewer features and feature changes after upgrading:
No "Options"; no one-click "Horizontal Line" (have to cursor to panel
and two more clicks to get the line).
I use a black screen due to vision problems, and can't see what's in the
panel boxes without highlighting.

Lost control of horizontal message text pane -
speaking of three SeaMonkey message panes: two horizontal (folders and
inbox), and one vertical below (for reading message text).
I was able to push it up for a larger read screen, with the mouse, but
there is NO way I can find to reverse that.
