ns, repartitioned the computer, reformatted the drive, and
reinstalled everything. In spite of this, its still behaving like this.
It didn't happen in 1.1.15, so is my only solution to roll back to the
older version

while it never affects those messages being sent simply to other folders
in my Local Folders.
Anyone have an idea as to how to fix this?????

I've had the SeaMonkey automatic updater updating for some time now.
Last week, it updated me from 2.24 to 2.25. Then not only are my
bookmarks gone, inside the program (they are still there in my profile
folder)but my new empty bookmarks, inside of the program, won't allow me
to add or update.
irst browser window to open automatically at program start.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled, though without a reboot.
Under VIEW, all of the Toolbars are CHECKED EXCEPT for the sidebar toolbar.

Well, I uninstalled it, shut it down, and after 5 minutes brought it
back up, before reinstalling it. Still no Toolbars!!

Several times a week, and only when the program is starting up, in other
words, doing the initial, automatic download of email, I get the
message: "Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file
system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to
ialogue box to enter the
encrypted "Secure Mail Key" or change my password even. Any help will be
appreciated

You are correct, it SHOULD be 0Auth, but the only options that I see
are:1) Normal Password; 2) Encrypted Password; 3) Kerberos / GSSAPI & 4)
NTLM
BTW I'm in Seamonkey Version 2.49.3 which is the latest version.

Walt, Only sort of. I did delete the ONLY email passwords for ATT.net
that I could find. BUT it didn't ask me to reenter any passwords.
NOTE: I didn't delete my att.COM login, which shows my att.NET email as
my login name.
